雅思写作中argumentation类型的作文占很大比例，这种题目一般有如下几种问法：

1.    discuss both views and give your own opinion

2.    to what extent do you agree or disagree

3.    do you think the advantage outweigh the disadvantage

在写这类文章的时候，必然会不止一次地用到表达观点的句子。为了体现语法形式的多样，考生要尽量采用多变一些的句式。常见的几种表达方式如下：

1.    短语类（in my opinion/view; from my pointof view,

from myperspective等）

例如

※In myopinion, parents who do the opposite and constantly give in to their children’sdemands, are actually doing more harm than good.

※In myview, both punishments and a range of other measures can be used together topromote better driving habits.

2.     宾语从句（believe/agree/argue/accept/assert /point out等）

例如

※I agree withthose who argue that there should be a maximum wage.

※I believe thatout basic needs for shelter , food and company need to be fulfilled before wecan experience happiness.

3.    同位语从句（disagree with the idea that/support theview that…等）

例如

※Thereis evidence to support the idea that homework does nothing to improveeducational outcomes.

※Isupport the view that homework has an important role to play in the schoolingof children.

4.    形式主语(it is recognized/argued that…等)

例如

※It is recognizedthat play time is just as beneficial as study time from the perspective ofbrain development.

※From a personalperspective, it can be argued that these courses provide more job opportunities, career progression, better salaries, and therefore an improved quality oflife for students who take them.
